Feeling: cool, tired, grey-moody under the slowly changing leaves. Anticipatory – autumn is here. Seeing: Serious-eyed kids tallying numbers, chewing pencils, sipping tea; and the dog’s reproaches rising from the sunlight as she watches breakfast dishes soaking.
